Domaine de la Baume

Don’t these photos look like something out of an Impressionist painting? They’re from the Domaine de la Baume, a former residence-turned hotel in the Haut-Var region of Provence. The home belonged to the artist Bernard Buffet and is now a 15-room country hotel, with rooms starting at $600. A small price to pay to take breakfast on a balcony with views like those. New life plan: buy a stone farmhouse in Provence and open a B&B.Who’s with me?

  1. Since Callum has told us that his new plan involves living in a chateau in France, you guys should talk. That yellow with the blue shutters? Yes please.

  2. Literally took my breath away! The first picture reminds me of the Chateau from the movie ‘A Good Year’ (not the world’s most fantastic movie but I can never resist the scenery)!

  3. Me, I’m with you. So gorgeous! You would really feel like you’re on vacation at a place like this. You would literally have to pinch yourself as you sit on that balcony drinking your morning coffee and looking out at those views. Sigh…
