Happy Monday! Today is expected to be a really really busy day at work, so you’ll pardon my brevity. It’s been a while since I’ve posted some all-white interiors, so let’s dive right in, shall we? To make the lack of color more bearable for those of you opposed to all-white-everything, you can play a gam where you try to guess how many audible gasps the following pictures caused me (hint: think double digits).

from here

I had about 6 simultaneous heart attacks when I first saw this, and the first words out of my mouth were, um colorful. No pun intended. (No pun achieved?)

from here

Love this idea for a night table.

from here

I can’t even. I don’t know what function that table is serving as there are two chairs of different heights, but I love it.

from here

I love Railroad style apartments, especially ones with white floors.

from here

Pretty much the perfect kitchen. And I have that radio on the counter!

from here

This one isn’t so bad, either. Love the industrial look of it.

from here

I don’t know what I love more, the Marc Jacobs carrier bag, the Therese Sennerholt postcards on the wall, or the rustic desk. I can’t deicide.

Sorry to once again inundate you with more stark white interiors, but come on. I think Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes said it best: “If you don’t know me by now, you will never never never know me. Oooooh.”

  1. Remember when Jim Carrey’s heart popped out of his chest, beat a few times and then went back in? In The Mask? Yup, that’s how I’m feeling right now.

That window is just heavenly and the third room is so white that I can barely tell what’s in it – purr-fec-tion!!!

You certainly know how to make a girl’s Monday!!! :D

*Scuttles off to pin them all*

P.S. My guess is 25 times.

    1. I do! And I had a similar reaction! Also thought of the Genie in Aladdin when his jaw hits the floor with the sound of a large weight, DONNGG!

I agree with you, if I can’t distinguish what is going on in a room from all the white shapes, we’re on the right track. I’m glad you love these interiors as much as I do, because they really started my week off on a high note. Pin away!

25 times is about right :)

  2. Did you see the link I tweeted you? From Love Nordic? Your post makes me feel the same way, soothed on a gray and headachey day. That first photo? I would absolutely K.I.L.L for a window like that. I am falling more and more in love with white. So there.

    1. I just saw it! Thank you! You can bet it’s going to end up on a post here sooner or later, haha.

I know, that window is incredible. I would take a room of all rainbow colors (or worse, rainbow stickers) to have a window like that. And I’m so happy I’m making a believer out of you!

  3. Hey. I am a kind of a colour girl, hence colourliving! However, LOVE that window. In fact, love all the pics as long as I can jazz them up with colour.
Did you have a busy day? Here it’s Blue Monday and I felt it. Viewed some crap flats and felt uninspired… not a good thing in Tina’s world.
Anyway, spring is in the air…. Off to eat grilled fish. Ciao!

    1. Ha, yes, Colour Living doesn’t exactly denote stark white to me, but that’s okay! I appreciate color in small doses, and I don’t think I’m slick enough to even pull off an all-white home!

Monday was very busy for me. But tell me, what’s Blue Monday? How was your grilled fish?? I love grilled fish. We can’t do it like you guys, though. Even if you think those flats were “crap” I bet they were a lot nicer than the apartments we have here!

  4. Ketchup ketchup ketchup! These looks like places that men with beards live (and I don’t mean my dad). That window’s rather problematic to curtain isn’t it? I do like the blinds though. And that’s all you’re getting from me on the white subject.

There are some serious ‘fros going down in that video! What an awful song.

    1. Hahahaha, ketchup. I literally laughed out loud when I read that. I’ll take what I can get from you on the subject of white. :)

I can’t believe you don’t get down with Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes! Everyone loves a good fro.

  5. The black, the wood, the metal, the tiny red flowers – which items made you gasp or are they tolerable? Yes, those windows are pretty heavenly. Did you notice that there is a guy standing in the corner of one of the photos? He’s wearing all white so you might have missed him.
Of course, I love every single room. Though, ketchup wouldn’t be my peeve, it would be finding loose strands of hair on the floor.

    1. I can’t tell if you were kidding about the guy in the corner, so now I’m studying all the pictures and I still can’t see him. Tell me if I should stop! I’m becoming concerned for my eyesight.

Oh, all of those little elements are tolerable for me. And gorgeous, I might add. Though you’re right, given that I have a black dog who sheds, I can’t imagine how much time I’d spend vacuuming all his hair off the floor. I could just shave him, that would make things easier, and he’d require fewer baths.

      1. Oh dear, I totally forgot to add “kidding!” I blame it on momnesia. I wasn’t trying to be mean, I promise. I just loved Chi’s comment so much, “…the third room is so white that I can barely tell what’s in it”. I was just working off of that notion. You’re eyesight is muy bueno.

  6. I was looking for the man in white too! I don’t think he’s there.Unless it’s George Michael from the Careless Whisper video. He would be very well camouflaged. Apart from the eyebrows anyway.

    1. Oh god, if it was Georgios I’d be able to spot him from a mile away. The lamps in his hands would be a dead giveaway.
